Mold Engineer

Job Responsibilities


1. Responsible for the design, development, and optimization of stamping dies, stretching dies, and other molds related to iron cans, including formability analysis, process layout, mold structure design, and drawing of processing drawings, as well as ordering mold materials;


2. Track the progress of new mold processing and the trial mold process, promptly solve technical problems that arise during the trial mold process, and ensure that the mold meets production requirements;


3. Assist the production department in mold assembly, debugging, and daily maintenance, improve existing molds to enhance production efficiency and reduce losses;


4. Responsible for writing, organizing, and maintaining technical documents and drawings for molds, participating in project technical discussions, and assisting in developing product development plans;


5. Pay attention to new technologies and materials in the industry, and integrate advanced concepts into mold design and optimization work.




Job Requirements


1. College degree or above, major in mold design and manufacturing, mechanical design, material forming, etc. 3-5 years of experience in designing iron cans or metal stamping molds is preferred;


2.Proficient in design software such as CAD, UG, SolidWorks, familiar with the structure and process of metal stamping molds, with a preference for UG programming and machining center operation;


3. Possess strong engineering design skills, problem-solving abilities, and communication and coordination skills, as well as a good team spirit and sense of responsibility;


4. Understand the characteristics of sheet metal (tinplate) materials, be familiar with the relevant standards and quality requirements for canning molds.
